Paul and Patricia Gates are instrumental music teachers in Livingston, Montana. Avid fly fishing anglers, their passion for Montana Agate Began with an occasional rock picked up on the Yellowstone River. They collect, cut, polish and finish all the Montana Agate and petrified wood used in their jewelry. Paul also makes beautiful hand tied fly fishing earrings and pins.
In addition to fishing, making jewelry and teaching music, the former Kansas City Symphony performers are active freelance musicians specializing in classical chamber music.
